Santa Fe Statistics / Demographics / Business info

Santa Fe merges the old Hispanic, Native American, and Cowboy traditions into an exotic blend of cultures that creates a warm, relaxing as well as stimulating and exciting place to visit or live. Whether winter or summer, spring or autumn, the weather and clear air welcome the weary traveler. Winters are intermittently snowy in town with plenty of snow in the mountains for skiing. The winter days are usually sunny and cool with crystal clear air. Evenings are cold and beg a toasty fire. Summers are hot and vacation sunny every day. Pool & lake swimming, hiking, riding, flea markets and shopping fill the days. Spring and autumn mix the two main seasons and paint the town with special colors.
Myriad museums, galleries and artists' studios dot the town and fill Canyon Road. Take your pick of multi-star pueblo style hotels surrounding the Plaza de Santa Fe or quieter B & Bs or short-term rentals outside town. Nightlife and elegant dining of all types abound. In Santa Fe you can relax and find your place in the sun. See our listings for all your needs.

The following statistics, from the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce, will give you an overview of the Santa Fe community and how it compares to other United States cities. The links at the bottom of this page can help you with more information.
