Southwest C.A.R.E. Center is located in Santa Fe, New Mexico and
serves the State and its residents with information about and treatment
for HIV disease. HIV+ residents of New Mexico are treated at Southwest
C.A.R.E. Center's clinic in Santa Fe and at affiliated HMA (Health
Management Alliance) facilities throughout the State. Southwest
C.A.R.E. Center doctors are also actively involved in drug treatment
research and HIV/AIDS disease education throughout New Mexico and
the world. HIV/AIDS is a public health threat to all New Mexicans.
Shifting demographics contribute to accelerated incidences of infection
in minority populations, women and youths. Southwest C.A.R.E. Center
of Santa Fe is manned by more than 30 doctors, medical professionals,
researchers and other dedicated workers mandated to further the
treatment, understanding and prevention of HIV/AIDS. This work force
combined with the statewide HMA network provide comprehensive and
accessible treatment and education to all New Mexicans.

New Mexicans with state-of-the-art medical care and needed psychosocial
services in a complete, timely, confidential, respectful and cost-effective
